Dominic is a Patent Attorney (UK and European), a European Patent Litigator and a Trade Mark Attorney – as well as being a founder of Hargreaves Elsworth. Dominic gained experience handling a full range of intellectual property matters in his role as an Examiner at the European Patent Office, a technical assistant in private practice and then as an in-house Intellectual Property Manager. His areas of expertise include medical devices, computer software, electronics, military equipment, agricultural machinery, food processing and packaging, as well as IP licensing.

Lucy is a Patent Attorney (UK and European), a European Patent Litigator and a Trade Mark Attorney, working for Hargreaves Elsworth since October 2004 following her time as a research chemist at a leading pharmaceutical company and working as a Formalities Manager within an intellectual property private practice.
Lucy is adept in the filing and prosecution of patent applications at the UK Intellectual Property Office and European Patent Office, relating to a wide range of technical subject areas, but is particularly specialised in the fields of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Lucy also brings a wealth of experience in registered trade mark and registered design cases.
Alison is a CIPA-qualified patent administrator with experience in all aspects of UK and foreign patent, trade mark and design formalities, having worked at the practice since 2005. She is also a qualified Trade Mark Attorney.
Prior to joining Hargreaves Elsworth Alison worked as a patent secretary in the electronics and engineering department of a large private practice in London.
